Reforestation for a Sustainable Future
At Netco2, we are dedicated to reforestation and sustainable agriculture. Our focus is on utilizing soil-degraded areas in Brazil to plant Macaúba palm trees. Through this, we aim to produce Macaúba nut oil, biochar fertilizer, biomass, and sell carbon sequestration credits. Our commitment to sustainable practices aligns with environmental conservation.
We are committed to preserving the environment and promoting biodiversity. Our promise is to restore degraded land, reduce carbon emissions, and contribute to the global effort of combating climate change. By planting Macaúba palm trees, we are creating a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both the planet and future generations.
A first 5 hectares pilot is currently in progress, in which different genetic varieties of Macaúba are being planted and closely monitored. Within this pilot, we are testing multiple irrigation and fertilization strategies to identify the combinations that best improve soil health, tree resilience, and long-term yields.

Building on these learnings, a first-phase plantation will commence soon targeting 1,000 hectares. This phase will adopt an agroforestry approach that combines food crops—such as açaí and mandioca—alongside Macaúba. The plantation will be carefully managed and monitored to validate performance at scale, enhance local biodiversity, and diversify community-oriented outputs.

Based on insights from these two pilots, our goal is to expand to at least 50,000 hectares within a decade. As the pilots approach completion, we plan to implement modern crop-monitoring and data-collection mechanisms, including automated drone scans of the area and advanced processing and analysis using modern AI capabilities.

These tools will help us optimize growth, improve carbon sequestration outcomes, and continuously refine our sustainable practices.
Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the world.
